ROBOSAPIENS - THE EVOLUTION OF THE HUMANIOD - ROBOTS LIKE US

A while back on Facebook, I did a post on robots with pigment and ethnic identities, featuring the robot BINA. I thought she was a David Hanson project but I found out differently. Last night, I was watching "Joe Rogan Questions Everything", on the Syfy Network. He sat down and interviewed the robot - robosapien, BINA.

While I was taking the standpoint that this technology is quite interesting and neato, Joe spins it into the FEAR FACTOR - I guess it works for ratings. The video is here.

I hate that the media tried to make us fear technology when there are such great benefits to mankind with the evolution of technology. While I do not like the idea of the human and the robot merging. I do think that there are endless benefits to technology among us that we control. I do not view it as a psychotic endeavor to become gods but I do see it as a way to free up our time and energy for more important things in life that matter more than working, like family time.

I wrote an article about how time is the killer of hopes and dreams about a decade ago. I was in the mindset then, that technology has taken us to new heights of dysfunction because we are always having to keep up with it. Technology has created the way for employers to increase workloads and increase hours at work. This took away time from the family. I now think that new technology can do that direct opposite thing. We can use technology, like robotics, to free up a lot of time. Just think, if you had a robot that could do your house cleaning for you, how much more family time that would free up. You could have one that does your cooking, that could be 20 minute to four hours per meal you get back in a day (depending on how much you cook and what you are cooking). I think robots could be a bonus for the family. Robots could tutor children in education - I am not saying to replace humans with robots at all, but I totally see where they could add free time to our lives.

I often think about why people date on the internet. I think a lot of that has to do with not having the time to go out and meet people. Where people have used technology to hook up on the internet with someone who is technically a robot until you meet them, because unless you are really connecting with a human body, that person is technically your computer lover until you meet. I often laugh at that. I know plenty of people that marry people they internet date. What is the difference in inserting robots into our lives to aide in freeing up time?

If you watch this video, you will see where they speak of the merging of man and machine - for me, though it sounds neat, I am not really excited about that. I know that they can go in a lab and build manufactured body parts to save the lives of people and extensions of limbs for those who do not have them, but I don't like the idea of being chipped at all. We do walk around with GPS tracking devices on our bodies, but I just don't like the thought of any type of technology inside of my actual body. I hope that always remains optional, I choose not to have that ever. I don't even like medication, I could not imagine having anything inserted into my body.

I would love to know your thoughts on this. Please reply to me where the comments section is. I know you have an opinion. Share with me and the other readers.

HYPERLOOP, ELON MUSK AND OTHER TRANSPORTECH! WHAT THE HECK IS THAT? 4.O

CONSUMER TECH JUNKIE NOVICE CHIC

Jump on the train with Elon Musk. Everyone is talking about him. He is the hottest thing in new tech swagg! He is this generations Einstein, Edison, Ford and Tesla. This is highly editorialized, as a side note. If you don't know who Elon Musk is, he is one of the original founders of PayPal, prior to the
Ebay sale.  He is the founder of Tesla motors and Space X. Unlike most any business of this size, he built these businesses with his own money. Although this South African native does have an exceptionally high I.Q. and a photographic memory, he started off with humble means upon embarking to live in the United States and used his hyper-intellect to turn humble beginnings into the hundreds of millions of dollars. I am an Elon Musk fan because he makes science entertaining to me. Richard Branson is a humanitarian and full of heart but his dramatic life has not been broadcast in the way the Elon Musks' life has been. I plan to write on Elon Musk later, I just a biography that Bloomberg TV did on him. Ironically, I was on an large global Google Hangout that he and Richard Branson were the Keynote speakers for.

You will find a YouTube video on his 2012 lecture at Oxford University, "The Future of Energy and Transport", on this blog. Can anyone say SOLAR CITY?. He has received the highest awards in automotive innovations such as, "Car Of The Year", from Motor Trends, for the Tesla Model S. He is, oh right, this isn't about him but about his innovation in the technology of the future of  transportation. Recently, Tesla was awarded the Top Saftey Rating for the Model S.  www.solarcity.com

Click here to watch his TED TALK http://www.ted.com/talks/elon_musk_the_mind_behind_tesla_spacex_solarcity.html

Mr. Musk, if you are looking, take me seriously when I say I HEART YOU, and not in a romantic way. I love his genius and his desire for mankind to do better because he knows there is better out there. For all of us that are LUNATICS and have a desire to go to the moon - don't blink, Musk has good intentions to go to Mars. He has already sent several rockets out to space successfully with his Space Exploration center Space X. Moving on to the topic of discussion Hyperloo, the technology from The Jetson's, The Matrix and many Sci-Fi movies about the future.

Elon Musk, you're sooo cool! He is often compared to Marvel Comics character,  Tony Starks.  To  quote Gizmag.com as saying, "Musk has said Hyperloop is non-scheduled service which leaves when you arrive, is immune to weather and never crashes. The only specific technical hints Musk has provided is that it is not a vacuum tunnel, but is a cross between a concord, a rail-gun and a air hockey table." Others refer to Hyperloop as a Travel Tube. The fact that it arrives when you are ready, makes those of us that are impatient quite happy about the future of transportation. I am just a bit curious as to how that will work. The sheer fact that it is an alternative means of transportation and it goes much faster than traditional means of transportation is a great reason to offer Musk the city of Atlanta to run his first trial post his Beta test on cargo. (The traffic in Atlanta is quite violent and the commutes are stressful.)This thing goes fast like 600-1000 miles and hour and you don't get whip-lash!

HERE IS A COOL VIDEO EDITORIAL SYNOPSIS OF HYPERLOOP FROM JEFF

Running competition for Hyperloop may include, +ET3 (Evacuated Transport Tube), Space Travel on Earth, can get from New York to California in 45 minutes and California to China in just two hours. I think this design must be a bit faster than that of Hyperloop. I do know that there is currently no air

I am always talking about MAGLEV TECHNOLOGY because it really captured my attention and I love all that magnets are capable of doing. I have had some strange experiences with Magnets in the past, so they intrigue me. I first learned of Maglev Technology from The Venus Project - the futurist invention of Jacque Fresco. While there is a lot of information and videos on the web, you can go straight to www.thevenusproject.com  and learn more about that endeavor. Hyperloop, by comparison, seems quite similar. It relies on the resources already covering the earth. I am thinking the oil industry must hate Elon Musk right now. I am totally in his corner as it may possibly be ran by solar power and can shoot internationally in under six hours. Imagine getting across the United States in under two hours. That sounds bananas but it opens up the entire world to everyone without boarders. I love it.

Hopefully, for the average non-tech savvy consumer of technology, this gives insight to the future of transportation if left in the hands of Elon Musk. I hope this helps to get people on board as we for better ways to make life safer, longer(healthier) and more time efficient.

TOUCH SCREEN WITHOUT TOUCHING INTRODUCING LEAP MOTION PRE-HOLOGRAPHIC 3.0

CONSUMER TECH JUNKIE NOVICE CHIC

I AM SUPER EXCITED ABOUT HOLOGRAPHIC IMAGES! I would like to interview the companies making this technology to find out how it works. This is like the next best thing. Introducing LEAP MOTION, for you feelers out there it is TOUCH SCREEN without touching.

Leap Motion makes you the controller via a sensor puc doohickey. I totally want one! This is new tech that allows you to interactively (love that word) interface with your computer. Though this may be a first version as most new tech keeps evolving, this is really cool. Sort of like the Natal the video game that came out a few years ago.

The company is reaching out to you App developers to redesign the way apps are built and to now, up the anti from tablet/mobile Touch Screen to TOUCH FREE (I coined it) technology. They refer to it as AIRSPACE. They have 75 apps that go along with this device already. Wait until app builders get wind of this! Big thanks to Bloomberg TV for always keeping me up to speed on Tech.

I am over ecstatic about the world changing with technological innovations. I believe technology is allowing us to become a FREER people and more intelligent. Now somethings may be a little scary, but it is sort of the same thing with guns - it is the user that makes it scary.  I am eager to see the evolution of creativity where technology is concerned. I just hope we find a way to recycle all of the scraps from the technologies we are throwing away.

YOUTUBE GEEK WEEK AND DRAGON CON 2.O

 CONSUMER TECH JUNKIE NOVICE CHIC

GEEK WEEK on YouTube this week, I'm a bit more than excited about this. Theyare highlighting the smart yet slightly goofy channels. I am sure this is due to the lead into Dragon Con! I have to make my way out there!!!! Here is a segment from Scientific Rock Star, Neil deGrasse Tyson. He is one of the only African-American, Autochthonous Americano, Melinated, Moorish, Black Americans I have ever seen highlighted in the Science world. I am thrilled to have now encountered so many that are in the Sci/Tech world and I do believe that I will be highlighting these people with my pal Stephen Brown, the Digital Afro!

I am so excited about the possibilities in technology and science. It, for me is a world unexplored and actually still has so much more to delve into. I love uncharted territories. Boldly going where no man/woman has gone before. I want to collaborate with as many scientific people as possible. I , being a CONSUMER TECH JUNKIE NOVICE CHIC (my new blog), want to find ways of making this INformation attractive and exiciting for everyone. I want to hear stories from nerdy people I also want to hear from people that just don't get it or care about it or like it. All information is good information.

The new blog will talk about Technology but talk on some of the hinderances for the AVERAGE JOE where technology is concerned. I don't know all the answers I am just excited about buttons, moving parts and futuristic concepts coming into full existence. Join me and support this endeavor. If you know me, you know this is a catalyst to something else bigger! Help a girl get the word out!!! On G+ my email is ibroadcast.monica@gmail.com

iHEART GOOGLE 1.0

CONSUMER TECH JUNKIE NOVICE CHIC

OMGSH!!! #TECHNEWS‬ who can beat Google. If you have not explored Google Drive lately, you simply must... If you are a business owner make your life less complex.

#‎RT‬ ‪#‎Share‬ Google drive is what is referred to as a "CLOUD", or an online storage of things you do via computer, laptop, tablet or phone (mobile device). I am not saying Google is the best because I am a fan, but omgsh...
I am such a fan.

I am absolutely memorized by the developments the have on a weekly bases. The lawsuit between Google and Apple is just riveting to me. Anyway, try out some of the new stuff like Loupe, super cool app, that you can use on a laptop or computer from the DRIVE cloud, (this is free with a Google account BTW), but this allows you to take you photos and make them into shapes like a collage. Try out Google Hangout, a video boardroom that is also located in YouTube for storage. MindMup, mind mapping online, Music Player is cool because you can use it on or off line, Project Managers can create, schedule and track full projects; need documents translated? They have that too, HTML editors, Google Painting, hello fax-send documents online, print sign and scan; Magisto video editor, Ujam CREATES music and you become the music producer, start your own Social Media Network for your friends on Hojoki, I think there is one to edit scripts...its so exciting, well at least to me it is. Lol!

www.Google.com/drive . If you have not tried it know that you get 5-10 GB of storage space free. You can choose to download it to you computer or not and make your documents available on or offline... I  HEART Google!!!!
